Good morning, professors! I am very glad to be here for this interview.
My name is Li Ming and I come from Beijing, the capital of China. I graduated from Tianjin University last June, majoring in advertising. During my college life, I took several relevant courses and mastered the basic knowledge of this major. The more I learned about this field, the more I interested in it. Thus, I have worked in an advertising company in Beijing for one year after graduation. I worked hard but I found that the basic knowledge I have gained about this field is not enough for me to solve all the problems that arise in my work. This means that what I have learned was not enough for my goal. For this reason, I decided to take the postgraduate examination so that I can have the opportunity to gain more professional knowledge about the major of advertising and improve my research ability.
The undergraduate study and my working experience have laid a firm basis for me in this field. And I understand how to apply theory to practice. The professional research strength and strong academic atmosphere of your university are what I have admired for a long time. If I am lucky enough to be admitted by your university, I will devote myself to the academic study and strive to make contributions in this field. Thank you!
各位教授，早上好！很高兴能来这里参加这次面试。
我叫李明，来自中国的首都——北京。我于去年毕业于天津大学广告学专业。在大学期间，我学习了多门这个专业的相关课程并且掌握了其基础知识。我对这个领域了解得越多，我就越感兴趣。因此，我毕业后这一年便在北京的一家广告公司工作。我工作勤恳，但是发现在这个领域，我所掌握的基础知识并不足以让我解决工作中遇到的所有问题。这就意味着我所学到的不足以实现我的目标。出于此原因，我决定参加研究生考试以便我能有机会学习关于广告学专业更加专业的知识并提高自己的研究能力。
本科的学习经历和我的工作经历为我在这个领域打下了坚实的基础。此外，我懂得如何将理论运用于实践。贵校的专业科研实力和浓厚的学术氛围是我长期向往的。如果我有幸被贵校录取，我会全身心投入到学术研究中，并努力在这个领域做出贡献。谢谢！

Good afternoon, my honorable professors!
I’d like to introduce myself briefly. I am Li Ming, a senior undergraduate student majoring in visual communication design. My hometown is Kaifeng, a famous ancient city. I will get my bachelor’s degree at Henan Normal University this coming June. Now, I am making efforts to obtain the key to your university.
During my undergraduate study, I have developed a strong interest in this major. Therefore, I have the excellent academic performance and win the scholarship each term. Besides obtaining several kinds of certificates, I also passed CET-6. During the vacations, I always did part-time jobs related to my major. This helps me to improve skills of practice that cannot be obtained in class. Although my practical skills have been developed, I still believe that it is necessary for me to improve my professional knowledge. Because of this, I made up my mind to further my study with a master’s degree.
I am the person with the ability to stick to things until I get them done. I hope I can gain more theoretical knowledge so that I can lay a solid base for my future career and contribute to this field. If I have the opportunity to study here, I will try my best to achieve my goal. Thank you for attention!
尊敬的各位教授，下午好！
我想简单地介绍下自己。我叫李明，是一名视觉传达设计专业的大四学生。我的家乡是著名的古城开封。今年六月，我会取得河南师范大学本科学位。现在，我正在努力获取打开贵校大门的钥匙。
本科期间，我对这个专业产生了浓厚的兴趣。因此，我成绩优异，并且每学期都获得奖学金。除了获取各类技能证书，我也通过了大学英语六级考试。假期期间，我总会做与专业相关的兼职工作。这帮助我提高了在课堂上获得不了的实践技能。尽管实践技能有所提高，但是我仍然认为我有必要提升我的专业知识。因此，我下定决心要继续攻读硕士学位。
我是那种有能力坚持到把事情做完的人。我希望我能掌握更多的理论知识，以便为我未来的职业生涯打下坚实的基础并为这个领域做出贡献。如果我有幸在这里学习，我一定会尽我最大的努力来实现我的目标。谢谢各位！
