The ancient culture of China is one of the great treasures of human civilization. In the photo above, a foreign lady is pleasantly appreciating a traditional Chinese handcraft in a museum. Obviously, she has been attracted by its elegant charm.
In my opinion, the traditional Chinese culture is not only certain to survive, but, in fact, is destined to thrive and prosper. One factor that has already begun to contribute to the preservation of Chinese traditional culture is its commercialization. Another reason that the future of Chinas ancient culture can be considered safe is the active efforts to protect it on the part of the Chinese government. Finally, the culture of China is supported by widespread and growing international interest in China and its traditions.
For China, as for any other rapidly developing country, there is a danger that age-old customs and traditions may become lost in the shadows of modernization. If tai chi, kung-fu or Peking opera ever perished from the earth, it would be a tragedy of immeasurable proportions. Fortunately, as a result of successful commercialization efforts, unwavering government support and growing interest overseas, the future of China’s traditional culture will be brighter and more secure than ever before.

范文:
This is a simple but enlightening cartoon, in which there is a young guy, with great confusion on his face, looking at his kinds of choices but not knowing what to do: playing games, watching cartoons or doing winter vacation assignments. Finally, several Chinese characters can be noticed, which say that progress originates from self-discipline.
Such a scene above, apparently, can be associated with the significance of self-discipline in one’s growth. As we know, successful figures are usually characterized by their various merits, such as strong wills, confidence, perseverance and self-discipline. However, an increasing number of youngsters, now, become addicted to games, short-videos or other recreational activities. This phenomenon is particularly worth concerning for the reason that these guys may just enjoy the superficial pleasure, ignoring the importance of urging themselves to acquire knowledge. In fact, these behaviors have constituted an obstacle that hinders their personal growth and progress.
I, as a college student, am convinced that it is of great necessity for us to cultivate our awareness and habit of self-discipline. This virtue, to my understanding, can be likened to a journey, leading to success.
